Site under reconstruction (updated)

After neglecting my websites and domain for almost 2 years. I feel its time for me to at least try to update them and get back on track.

Some will say I have tried this before and failed. half a year ago I relaunched my blog, but 2 months later I kinda got overloaded with work and stress. And at the same time a bit tired to trying to get wordpress to work the way I wanted in small periods of free time. It just didn’t work and I basically felt I never had the time to really sit down and fix everything.

At the moment I am currently on sick leave (nothing bad), and have a nice long vacation where I am not planning on doing anything (yet…). So I have decided to actually spend some time in fixing up my website. Especially my blog, CV and other misc stuff I want to transfer from www.w2r.net. I kinda want it all gathered under this domain. I am also hoping to get it all to run on one platform -> WordPress. It will take some work, and I hope I am up for it.

Hope you all will bare with me and accept my apology for being so inactive and neglecting my online life. Hopefully some of my friends and readers will come back and enjoy my site. And maybe make a comment here and there.

update: 21/08/2008

The new system I am implementing is taking a bit longer than I hoped for. There are some issues with wordpress 2.6.x that I need to sort out before making my content live again. Currently the only working thing is the blog and the photo section. None of the subpages are working as of now.

Due to limited time atm, then progress is going a little bit slower than I hoped for. I hope I will have everything done by the end of next month when I leave for a 4 weeks vacation.

    Currently working on the backend here, but not publishing until most is finished. And its taking forever it seems hehe

    Yup. Great to see you again.

    Well, I’m sure you’ll work something out amazing. You’ve always been a coder. :o Me, on the other hand, am about to stop trying out WordPress and switch to CuteNews to make things easier. lol

    Just take your time with wordpress John =D. Experiment, that is what I am doing atm. Experimenting with a wordpress theme that has been remade as a CMS. Just need to fine tune it a bit more to get it like I want it, and I will publish it here.

    It’s a standard boring theme, but the features are very nice. So for me the content and customizing first, then I will try and remake the design to something I want. But it takes alot more time than I originally thought hehe

    I’ve tried experimenting, but it all ended up in failure. For some odd reason, it’d tell me I’m missing a page and then the entries would get deleted, etc. I’m going to try reading tutorials. :/
